Help of Ondarun 2

L, PL and parts preparation

Level (L):
The level (L) of a part determines its power, its level of performance. The parts are produced in 51 levels (L) (from 0 to 50). If your car is fitted with high level parts, the higher the performance will be.

Parts with a level over 10 (from 11 to 50) are only available if your technical team is trained enough.
To buy, fit, sell and use a turbo level 12, your technical team must have been trained to the level 12 in turbo/compressor.

The L.min corresponds to the minimum level of the parts you must fit to a car. It is the level of the parts already fitted on the car when bought new from the dealer.
The L.max, on the other hand, corresponds to the maximum level of the parts you can fit to a car. For example, even if you have trained your technical team to use parts of a level 20, and your car has a L.max of 15, you won't be able to fit parts with a higher level than 15.

Preparation level (PL):
The preparation level (PL) determines the lifetime of the parts.

Wear is reduced by 2% per level. The PL max is 25 and allows a wear reduction of 50%.

One of the specificity of Ondarun is that the higher the level (L) of the part is, the faster the wear is.
The PL is made to slow this wear down and balance this specificity out.

Parts preparation :
When you buy new parts, they come with a PL0.
To get them with a higher PL, you must first invest in your parts preparation centre, so it increases by one or more levels.

One a higher level reached, you can then prepare your parts with your engineers !

These engineers are recruited via the page "Technical Team", and are explained here

The parts preparation interface is available in the page "Parts management".

The parts value is calculated from their level but also from their PL.
It is evident that parts PL25 are more interesting due to their improved lifetime for expensive parts.
