Promotions/Relegations

As mentioned earlier, at the end of each season these famous promotions and relegations take place.
We are going to see how they are made.

First, you must know that the teams in green or above the green line are at the present time promoted.
In the same way, the ones in red or below the red line are at the present time relegated.

Let's start with the national leagues only.
In each division, the first 3 teams are promoted.
In counterpart, the last 12 teams of each pool are relegated.

But, for the last division, we take in account that the pools have at least one active team.

Ex 1 : The last open division is the DV. Only 93 pools have active teams out of the 256 pools in the DV.
The 93 first and second teams will be promoted.
We then have a total of 279 promoted teams. We still have to determine the relegated from DIV.
The difference is first made by the rank in the pool, then by the points, then by the amount of supporters and, in the case of a draw, by the age of the team.
In this case, all the 24th, 23rd, 22nd and 21st teams of each 64 pools in DIV are relegated. There are still 23 relegations needed !
The 23 worst 20th teams in DIV are then relegated.

Pffff it's complicated, isn't it ? And it's not over...

We will now talk about promotions and relegations between the championship of each league and the world divisions.
First of all, tthe first 4 teams of each league are promoted in WRD, which means that :
The 4 worst French teams are relegated to the French championship.
The 4 worst German teams are relegated to the German championship.
The 4 worst English teams are relegated to the English championship.
Indeed ! We cannot relegate a German team in the French championship, which implicates, for world promotions/relegations only, a ranking by league !

You'll notice that relegations between WRD and WRC are made the same way !
But, only 4 teams of each league are promoted. Obviously, the 4 worst teams of each league in WRC are relegated.
